What do you get when you combine food trucks and craft beer with exceptional music? It’s the return of the Durham Central Park (DCP) FREE Summer Concert Series. Join us Friday, June 30th 6-8 pm as Art of Cool partners with DCP to present the phenomenal band Too Many Zooz!
Named one of Billboards’ Top 25 Next Big Sound, Too Many Zooz is one show you don’t want to miss! Their music is infectious, impossible to stay still listening to. The drums provide a rhythmic base, the saxophone a bass line and the trumpet serves as the melody, guiding you to a gradually increasing, precipitous crescendo, where all the instruments come together only to “drop” from a dizzying height, clashing together in an explosive climax of sound. Too Many Zooz will definitely force you to reconsider the way you think about jazz music.
Bring a lawn chair/blanket and be ready for a great time as we celebrate the summer season and our beautiful community in the heart of downtown! Please note the show will go on rain or shine. Food truck and craft beer vendors to be announced.
The Sol Kitchen X Art of Cool are bringing one of the illest parties celebrating HipHop back to the triangle. Friday, July 21st, meet us in Raleigh at The Pourhouse Music Hall as we honor two of the most respected performers, producers and moguls in hip-hop Dr. Dre and Jay-Z.
With over 30 years in music, we know Dr. Dre as the mastermind behind legendary songs from artists like NWA, 2Pac, Snoop Dog, Gwen Stefani, Eminem, and more. Since Jay Z debuted over 20 years ago he has been considered one of the greatest rappers of all time and has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music from Biggie, Beyoncé, Kanye West, Coldplay, 9th Wonder, Rihanna, and Dr. Dre to name a few.
The last event was a sell out, so don’t wait get your tickets early before they are gone!
